Math Puzzle Day

On Thursday the 24th March we held a maths puzzle day for the whole school.  We invited the The Happy Puzzle Company into school to deliver exciting and interactive sessions to all classes, bringing maths to life and enriching the curriculum through an extraordinary educational experience.

The children worked with large 3D puzzles and challenges, they looked easy until they tried to solve them!  Their task then became one of turning the impossible into the possible.  As they did they improved their personal learning and thinking skills as well as team skills.  Boosting their confirdence in the process and raising their expectations of what they can achieve in the clasroom.
